Ivana Müller
Ivana Müller (Croatia/Amsterdam/Paris)
Ivana Müller is a performance artist/choreographer/theater director who develops her artistic work by investigating the issues of identity, rules, misinterpretations, logical or perceptional twists and language. In her artistic production she uses dance, visual arts, video and text writing, creating “bastardized” forms that reinforce precisely defined concepts.
Ivana Müller mostly makes pieces that are shown in the context of theatre, although she occasionally creates installations for galleries and museums or publishes texts.
In her recent work she explores the notions of self-invention and story-telling ... often working on the borders between fiction and reality.
IM studied literature in Zagreb, dance and choreography in Amsterdam and fine arts in Berlin. She is one of the founding members of the association LISA, an artists’ collective based in Amsterdam.

A collaborative piece made together with other members of the association LISA: Nicole Beutler, Paz Rojo, David Weber Krebs and Hester van Hasselt. Based on sculptural module of Nicolas Floc’h, the piece was commissioned by Gallery W139 and Gasthuis Theater (Amsterdam, NL)
